In my opinion, truth doesn't have a specific definition, you just know what it is. Truth has to do with honesty and good faith. If someone always tells you the truth, it makes it easier for you to trust them. If something is true, it is not a lie or a made up story, it is a verified, honest fact. Mythology is not nessecaraly true. Most myhts, legends, and fables that i have read have been fictional stories that's purpose is to prove a true point. For example, the story of king Midas. King Midas makes a wish that everything that he touches turns to gold, it comes true and his life is ruined. He can't eat, drink, or hug his loved ones without them turning to solid gold. In the end he can undo his wish but the moral of the story is to think before you act.
